Energy Information
What is energy?
Energy exists in various forms: potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical, chemical, nuclear, etc.. There is energy in the process of transfer from one body to another, such as heat transfer may become thermal energy, and can manifest itself into physical force for the body to move.
Energy is what propels movement and powers the body; conservation of energy is what helps the body slow down and relax.
Humans need well a well functioning energetic body in order to power their life, do work, and maintain health and equilibrium.
By working on the energy fields around your body, and the energy in your body, we will help you improve your energetic flow and bring you back to your true nature.

Chakras
Our bodies are made up of multiple chakras which are points or centres of energy located on our body. There are 7 main chakras that start at the base of our spine and go up the spinal column to the crown of our head. The word chakra is Sanskrit meaning “wheel”, “cycle”, or “vortex”. The chakras are part of the endocrine system and are each related to different organs of our body. When our chakras are out of alignment and not vibrating or spinning at their regular speed, our energy is reduced and we may experience blockages.
The seven main chakras are:
-

The Seven Subtle Layers of the Body
Around our physical body are the subtle layers of the body made up of energy. These energy bodies extend beyond the physical into the multidimensional planes of higher consciousness. There are seven distinct layers split into three categories: (1) physical/personality, (2) astral plane (the bridge between physical and spiritual), and (3) spiritual. Each layer around the body extends further and further away (several feet) from the physical body in the shape of an egg. As these bodies are made up of energy, and energy is constantly changing, it is important to continue with your physical, mental, and spiritual hygiene and growth.

The seven subtle bodies are:
-
Etheric body
-
Closest to the physical body; health of physical tissues and organs of the body.
-
-
Emotional body
-
Associated with feelings; stores emotional baggage of past, present, future.
-
-
Mental body
-
Lower mind and higher mind; thoughts and mental processes, influences our philosophies.
-
-
Astral body
-
Bridge to the spiritual plane; perceive energy; astral projection, out of body experiences.
-
-
Supra Astral body/ Etheric template body
-
Template for the lower body; key to very deep healing
-
-
Spiritual/Celestial body
-
Spiritual, emotional plane; divine love, interconnectedness; connection of heart chakra and the celestial chakra.
-
-
Causal body/Ketheric template
-
Mental level of the spiritual plane; contains all the other bodies.

Aura, Nadis, Energetic Poles
Each of these systems are part of the energetic body that also includes our chakras and layers of the body. In these systems, our energy – also known as chi, ki, qi, prana – circulates as our life force which differentiates us from material objects and inanimate articles. This life force energy flows through our bodies at various frequencies which help to maintain our well-being. As energetic beings we are continuously evolving, changing, and vibrating at varying paces. Our energy flows through our systems to connect and send messages to communicate between our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers.
The aura is a luminous body that surrounds our physical one. It is part of the energy field that emits light and various colours. These colourful layers of the body are one way to see and feel the subtle layers of the body. The aura is part of the electromagnetic field that extends all around our physical body. It is barely detectable to the naked eye, but with training we can feel and see the aura and layers of the body. Every living thing, human, plants, animals, all emit an aura. The healthier we are the bigger and brighter our auras are and the further they extend around our body.
Nadis or meridians are energetic pathways that run through our body. Each nadi is associated to a different organ and its function and it carries the vital life energy through our body. Through the nadis information is communicated to the organs such as need for temperature regulation, or emotional regulation. When your organs and nadis are in harmony, your body is more likely to be in a healthy state and condition. Blocked nadis can result in physical, mental, or emotional illness, and the connection to spirit is diminished. This affects the body-mind connection and may require attention and care through energy sessions to help clear blockages and improve energetic flow.
We have two energy poles: north and south which represent the duality of life. Both must exist and be equally active, reactive, and receptive to create and maintain balance and harmonize the body, mind, spirit. Yin represents the feminine, the divine, receptivity, moon, earth, water. It comes up from the Earth, and is cooling and moist. Yang represents the masculine, the action centre, sun, air, light, and fire. It comes down from the sun and sky and is warm and invigorating. These two energies go through our channels to mix and dance in our bodies and keep our vital life force energy flowing. These energies are about expansion and balance between the masculine and the feminine, the north and the south, the ethereal divine and the grounded earth balance. Maintaining a balance of this duality is essential for healthy body, mind, spirit.
